David Lee Sherman

David Lee Sherman, 65, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025, at his home in Lower Pottsgrove Township, PA. He was the loving husband of Christine Elizabeth (Kidon) Sherman, with whom he would have celebrated 25 years of marriage in August. Born in Pottstown, PA, on October 30, 1959, David was the son of the late James R. Sherman and Joyce A. (Banyai) Sherman. Dave graduated from Pottsgrove High School in 1977 and began his career as an auto technician before transitioning to Omega Design Corporation in Exton, PA. There, he spent 22 years building machines for packaging production before retiring in December 2022. He had a true passion for building fast pro street cars and loved attending car shows. A devoted drag racer for many years, he also took great pride in meticulously crafting 1/8 scale car models. Above all, he had a deep love for his cats. Dave is lovingly remembered by his wife, Christine Sherman, and his siblings, Paul (Carol) Sherman, James (Virginia "Ginny") Sherman, Vinnetta (Edward) Pollock, and Catherine Sherman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dave's memory to the Cat Angel Network or the American Cancer Society. Contributions to Cat Angel Network will support local feline rescue efforts in honor of Dave's deep love for his cats. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
