Dennis Robison Obituary

Dennis L. Robison, 83, of Perkasie, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Barndt) Robison, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. Born September 20, 1942, in Perkasie, he was the son of the late James and Ethel Robison-Thomson. Dennis was a 1960 graduate of Pennridge High School and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Moravian University in 1968 and his master's degree in education from Temple University in 1980. He proudly served in the United States Army. For 32 years, Dennis taught in the Pennridge School District, where he also coached baseball and basketball. Upon retirement, he worked at First Savings / Penn Community Bank. Beyond the classroom, he shared his love of the game by coaching Quakertown Blazers baseball and Moravian University basketball. He is a member of the Pennridge-Quakertown Sports Hall of Fame and the first class of the Tri-County Baseball Hall of Fame. An active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Perkasie, Dennis found joy in his faith, community, and especially in time spent with his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Stephanie L. Robison, Andrew J. Robison, and Janis E. Frederick (Brad); four grandchildren, Rebecca L. Robison, Brian D. Robison, Halle M. Frederick, and Kyla B. Frederick; and his brother, Ronald Thomson (Susan). Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Sidney Thomson, and two brothers, James and Gerald Robison. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 19 S. 5th Street, Perkasie, PA 18944, where the family will greet friends following the service. Our sincere condolences. I spent several years coaching with Denny at Moravian College, and it was a wonderful experience. He was an absolute pleasure to be around, and we loved spending time with him and his family.

He taught me that if you always carry a folder with papers, people will think you're important. A little trick he learned from his days in the Army.

He was an incredible coach, teacher, coworker, and person. We will miss him greatly and are blessed to have known him.
