Douglas E. "Doug" Heimbach

Douglas "Doug" E. Heimbach, 64, husband of Denise M. (Curry) Heimbach, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at University of Penn Hospital. Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Douglas and Carol (Miller) Heimbach. Doug's big passion in life was motorcycles. He enjoyed riding them, building them, and working on them. He liked to listen to rock N roll, blues, and metal rock music. Doug was known for having a giant sweet tooth; he certainly loved his candy. In his down time, Doug could always be found tinkering around the garage as he was very mechanically inclined. Surviving along with his wife, Denise of 14 years, is his daughter Kimberly Gwilliam, wife of Brandon; daughter Jennifer Messina, wife of Frank; sister Diane Heimbach; grandchildren Leah and Miles Messina; and his beloved dog Quincy. He is predeceased by his brother David "Porky" Heimbach. A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Catagnus Funeral Home (711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, PA 19464). A time of sharing remembrances will immediately follow the viewing. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/) in Doug's name.
