Elva Mae Bachman

Elva M. Bachman, 102, of Salisbury Twp., passed away on October 22, 2025 under hospice care at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the loving wife of the late Daniel H. Bachman. Elva was a homemaker. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Minnie (Kranch) Strauch. Elva was a life-long member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Allentown and a member of the choir known for stunning soprano solos. In January 2014 the Sr. choir recognized Elva for an astounding 75 years of singing on the choir. Survivors: Daughters: Barbara E. Bachman of Bethlehem and Corliss Ann Bachman of Allentown. She was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Strauch and a son-in-law: Edward S. Niechwiadowicz, Jr. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11 A.M. in St. Luke's Lutheran Church 417 N. 7th St. Allentown, PA 18102. A calling hour will be held from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Church.
