Eric M. Gajdek

Eric M. Gajdek, 45, of Pen Argyl, PA, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Born in Dover, NJ, October 22, 1979, he was the son of Marie (D'Addona) Venes of Cedar Knolls, NJ and the late John A. Gajdek. A 1998 graduate of Lenape Valley Regional High School, Stanhope, NJ, Eric was a member of the I.A.T.S.E stagehand local 200 out of Lehigh Valley with over 25 years of experience setting up and tearing down concerts, off Broadway productions and any type of event in between. Eric also led a crew of installers for M. Cramer & Associates where he and his crew installed theatrical rigging equipment in schools, colleges, TV
studios, and multiple entertainment venues. Eric was one of the most knowledgeable ETPC certified riggers in the country. Eric was a beloved, if reluctant, leader, facing every challenge that came his way bravely and calmly, navigating the storm with confidence and quiet resolve, leading everyone to the finish line, and busting everyone's chops the whole way through. His strength and determination were an inspiration to all who knew and loved him. He was loyal to his crew, refusing to give up on any of them when the chips were down. While
he was fierce when necessary, he was compassionate when others were hurting. His generosity knew no bounds and he was always the first to lend a hand when someone needed it In addition to his mother, Marie, he is survived by his life partner, Sarah Ziegenfuss, as well as his two sons, Andrew and Jayson Gajdek, a daughter, Allyson Roberts, his brother, Brian Gajdek and his wife Jenna, two nieces, Morgan and Ashlee Gajdek, and three nephews, Evan, Jonathan, and David Gajdek. A Celebration of Life will be held at LoRusso's Italian Restaurant, 1308 Van Buren Rd, Easton, PA, 18045, on July 19, from 12pm-3pm.
