Frank Rubino Obituary

Frank "Cicci" Rubino, born September 13, 1934, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 90 years old.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Nunzio and Susie (née Minni) Rubino; his brother, Ronald; his grandsons, Jeff Rowe and Kyle Ennis; his great-granddaughter, Sofia Rose Phoolka, his nieces Susan Cordero and Kerry Hickox; and his cherished dog, Moe, who passed on the same day as Frank.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Dottie (Maminski); his sisters, Rita Costantini, Marie Feole, and Nancy Zavacky and his sister-in-law Jean Marricone; his children, Victor (Denise), Valerie Gray, Fay Hatch, Sue (Bill) Techtmann and Pam (Carl) Sedia; and his daughter-in-law, Barbara Rubino. Frank was a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, whom he adored along with many nieces and nephews.
Frank spent the majority of his career in auto sales at McCafferty Ford and Peruzzi Nissan, where he was beloved by colleagues and customers alike. He was fiercely proud of his Italian heritage and the tight-knit community of Bristol, where he grew up.
A devoted family man, Frank and Dottie created a lifetime of memories during 43 years of family vacations in Ocean City, NJ. Frank loved cooking breakfast for his loved ones, sitting on the deck at 1645 Wesley, watching the ocean while catching up on everyone's lives. The times he spent with family was everything to him. He was an avid fisherman, a passionate gun enthusiast, and a master of the "Cicci" hoagie, his own culinary creation. Frank was a loyal Philadelphia sports fan and a skilled gin rummy player, forming a particularly special bond with his longtime card partner, Roger Monk.
Frank and Dottie had a passion for dancing. Most weddings and family events they would be seen on the dance floor jitterbugging, and it was not unusual for Frank to be spinning Dottie and his sister Marie at the same time and performing for the guests. Most people said they were the best dancers ever. Frank once said to Dottie, "Can I have this dance for the rest of my life" she said yes and they did. They danced through the ups and downs of life and marriage and had a special love that not everyone gets.
Frank's warmth, humor, and larger-than-life presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to Frank's Life Celebration on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 10:00-11:30am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30am.
Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Conwell-Egan Catholic Football Program, 611 Wistar Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030 ([email protected]).
Rest in peace, Frank - a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Your legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who cherished you.

What a delight knowing Frank and Dottie for 52 years. The parkway players shows, the fun at rehearsal. Trips for crab feasts and a big memorial day parade, to name a few.Frank borrowed a beautiful brand new big white truck from his employer so we could sing and dance thru the parade We decorated it in Red white and blue crepe paper. It began to rain, a downpour. The red and blue colors began running all over the brand new truck staining the finish. Frank was horrified as were we.As soon as the parade was over, we quickly drove it to our house in levittown and everyone began pulling the colorful crepe decorations off the truck.we were all soaking wet and also covered in red and blue. The trunk finally was pristine white again and Frank could and did laugh it away. We are richer in memories today because we knew Frank, now heaven will know him as well. A life well lived, farewell Frank sending Love,Eydie
