Fred was a gentle soul. I became friends with him many years ago. He was a lifetime friend of my late husband Pete.Fred was a artist when he planted my flower beds. Yes, there are an abundance of flowers in heaven. Sincerely, Joy Adamson

Fred and my husband went to Southern Lehigh together many many years ago. When Fred was delivering flowers he would often stop by our farm to visit. If we were really lucky, he´d drop off his incredible cold slaw. Best we ever had!!

My thoughts and prayers are with the family, I went to school with Fred he was kind and always talked to me and when I would see at the flower shop we would talk about our lives, he was a friend and I know he is looking down at us with a new body with no pain, May God bless you all at this time .

My condolences to the Pennewell family. Fred, or as I knew him, Mr Pennewell, was a really guy. He always had a smile on his face and something nice to say, even to the boys kicking rocks down the alley and playing around the pond. I remember thinking he was such a cool guy and as I got older he was one of many of the fathers in the neighborhood whose demeanor and personality played a role in who I became. RIP Mr. Pennewell

Fred was a neighbor who was helpful. I learned a lot on various subjects as we chatted through the years. He made me laugh. I will miss him.

Rest In Peace Fred. I am glad to have known you. I always enjoyed selling all the beautiful annual flowers grown and delivered to Kuss Brothers by you and your father. You always had something to talk about.
