Geraldine Wartman Obituary

Geraldine Wartman, 104, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025 in Country Meadows. She was the wife of the late Robert Wartman who died in 1988. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Mamie (Kerchenthal) Stuber. Geraldine graduated from Bethlehem High School in 1937. During Liberty High School's 100th anniversary celebration Geraldine was honored as the oldest living member of the school. She graduated from Bethlehem Business College in 1939, and then was employed as a secretary at Sarco Manufacturing Co. A long time member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, she was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, baking, and caring for her family. Surviving are two sons, Robert Wartman, Jr. of Bethlehem and Paul Wartman and wife Christine of Ashland; two daughters, Linda Oplinger of Bethlehem and Carol Haring and husband Dennis of Easton; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. There will be no services in accord with Geraldine's wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Stephen's Church, 67 W.
