Gloria Knauss Obituary

Gloria S. Knauss, 98, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, at Gracedale, under the compassionate care of St. Luke's Hospice. Born on January 10, 1927, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved widow of Robert G. Knauss, with whom she shared 62 cherished years of marriage before his passing. Gloria was educated in Bethlehem schools and graduated from Bethlehem Business College. She dedicated much of her career to her work as a skilled seamstress. After retiring, she generously volunteered her time at Muhlenberg Hospital, touching many lives with her kindness. Gloria found joy in needlework, gardening, and was an avid reader, passions that enriched her life and those around her. Survivors: She is survived by her devoted daughter, Judith Roman (Robert); her grandchildren, Jack Roman (Donna) and Lindsey Concordia (Tony); and her great-grandchildren, Julia and Alaina Roman, and Roman, Gabrielle, and Jack Concordia. Gloria was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Byington, and her brother, John. Services: A private service and burial will be held at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery at the family's convenience. Gloria's funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cantelmi Long Funeral Home in Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be shared at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com. Contribution: In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Luke's Hospice in Gloria's memory, honoring her legacy of care and compassion.
