Harry Bettin Obituary

Harry Edward Bettin, Jr., 87, of Souderton, PA, formerly of Telford, peacefully passed away at home on Friday, September 12, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Barbara A. He was a 1955 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Philadelphia. Harry proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as part of the artillery division. A man of deep faith, Harry was a longtime member of North Wales Baptist Church. Harry had many interests and hobbies throughout his life. He had a passion for model railroading, particularly Lionel trains, and was an avid reader of mystery novels. He loved traveling, especially scenic drives to the Poconos, and had a deep appreciation for cars - both watching NASCAR and working on his own vehicles. He also enjoyed horseback riding and once owned a Palomino horse named JD, with whom he participated in horse shows. He will be remembered as a hardworking, kind-hearted, and gentle man with a quiet sense of humor and a generous spirit.
