Harry Michener Obituary

Harry Robert "Bob" Michener, 84, of Lansdale, PA, formerly of Abington, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Dock Woods Community. Born in Philadelphia, Bob was the son of the late Harry Robert Michener and the late Mabel (Trub) Michener. Bob dedicated much of his career to the restaurant industry, most recently working as a Kitchen Assistant at Olive Garden in Willow Grove, PA. He had a lifelong love for music and especially enjoyed playing the trumpet. One of his greatest joys was participating in monthly hymn sings, where his enthusiasm and spirit were always evident. A active member of First Presbyterian Church of Warminster, Bob's faith was a guiding force throughout his life. He grew up in the Presbyterian Church and had a deep love for the Lord. At The Willows, he was known for his faithful service-handing out bulletins and reading scripture during worship services. He was a beloved part of the community, appreciated by both residents and staff for his kindness and dedication. Bob never married and was predeceased in death by his parents in 1986 and by his cousin, Joseph G. Lamack. He is survived by his cousin, Ann Marie Moffa of Hartford, CT. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at The Willows in Hatfield at a later date. Inurnment will take place at George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Arrangements are by Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 East Broad Street, Souderton, PA 18964. Online condolences may be shared at www.andersfh.com.
