Isabel Flores-Garriga Obituary

Isabel Flores-Garriga, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on October 18, 2025, at the age of 69. Born in Bethlehem on July 10, 1956, to Gloria (Maldonado) Flores and the late Isac Flores, Isabel was a lifelong resident who deeply cherished her community. Isabel graduated from Liberty High School and soon thereafter embarked on a fulfilling career. She dedicated many years as an Office Manager at ABW Pediatrics, where she was known for her organizational skills and compassionate nature. Later in life, she found joy and purpose in working as a caregiver, offering support and kindness to those in her care. Isabel's faith was central to her life, and she was an active member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church. Her commitment to her faith and community was evident in the way she lived her life, always putting the needs of others before her own. Family was the cornerstone of Isabel's world. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 48 years, William Garriga Sr., and together they built a life filled with love and mutual respect. Isabel was a nurturing mother to her children, Raquel Garriga and her wife Heather of Allentown, and William Garriga Jr. and his wife Sarah of Bethlehem. Her role as a grandmother to her grandchildren, Isaiah, Emma, Gabrielle, Olivia, and Aria, was one she embraced with immense joy and pride. In addition to her husband, mother, children, and grandchildren, Isabel is also survived by her siblings, who each held a special place in her heart: William Flores and his wife Nubia of Florida, Paul Flores and his wife Karen of Florida, Samuel Flores of Florida, Gloria Cordero and her husband Billy of Nazareth, Milagros Strunk and her husband Miles of Bethlehem, Angel Flores and his wife Iris of Philadelphia, and Nancy and her husband Brian Kelly of Florida. She was predeceased by her father, Isac Flores. A talented cook, Isabel's kitchen was the heart of her home. She delighted in preparing meals for her family, infusing each dish with love and tradition. Her ability to bring people together through her cooking was unmatched, and her recipes will be treasured by her family for generations to come. Isabel's life was a testament to her caring spirit, her dedication to her loved ones, and her unwavering faith. Her warmth, generosity, and the laughter she shared will be deeply missed by all who knew her. As we say farewell to Isabel Flores-Garriga, we celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the enduring legacy she leaves behind. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light to her family and the many lives she touched.
