Jacob Daniel Dermott

Jacob "Derm" Daniel Dermott, 20 of Bethlehem- E. Allen Twsp., PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 28, 2025, at his home. Born May 24, 2005, in Spring Hill, FL. he had become the son of Michael P. Mollenkof and Fawn A. (Gevaudan) Mollenkof. Jacob was a 2024 graduate of the Northampton Area High School, Northampton, PA. Following high school, he continued his education at Lincoln Technical School, Allentown, PA, earning his electrical certification. He was last employed as a delivery driver for Door dash Services of the Lehigh Valley. Prior to he was a Loader / Unloader for Fed X Lehigh Valley for a few months and prior that he worked for Weis Markets for 3 years. Jacob was a true sports phanatic, but the game of football was his favorite. He started playing in his early years with the Northampton Athletics Association (N.A.A.) and he continued playing all the way through his high school years. He loved being a Konkrete Kid, weightlifting with the guys, spending time with his friends, and he was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan. Surviving along with his parents are brother, Gaven Mollenkof and sister, Kailyn Mollenkof both of Bethlehem, PA., Paternal Grandfather, Robert Mollenkof of Villas, NJ, birth sisters, Taylor Dermott of PA and A. Grace Dermott of NJ. He was predeceased by his birth mother Tammy Dermott. A Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday August 9, 2025, at Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave. Northampton, PA 18067. Family and friends may call from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the services. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Contributions: May be made in his memory to the funeral Home, which will be directed towards medical research for the benefit of others once his ailment is confirmed.
