Jacob Rice Obituary

Jacob H. Rice, 30, of Allentown, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 24, 2025 in his home. Born in Allentown, he was a son of James K. and Lori A. (Kremsner) Rice of Allentown. Jake attended Catasauqua Area School where in his younger years he was a Boy Scout, played football for CYAA and always remained a steadfast Eagles fan. He enjoyed watching wrestling regularly since childhood, was an avid video gamer and was very enthusiastic about gaining knowledge of the world, learning everything he could and was eager to share it with others. Jake loved to spend his time fishing and caring for all of his beloved pets. Animals were his heart and would always look out for the stays, tending to them as often as he could never wanting them to feel alone. Most of all, Jake will be remembered as a compassionate friend, always looking out for the underdog and putting others before himself. He was a kind, caring, loving passionate soul. Survivors: His parents, James and Lori; sister, KylieAnn Rice of Allentown; brother, Andrew Rice of Champagne, Illinois; maternal grandmother, Barbara Kremsner of Allentown; his beloved family, friends, pets and extended "gaming family." Services: Private, at the family's request. Arrangements are entrusted to the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Allentown.
