James Renninger Obituary

James Charles Renninger, 79, of Bethlehem, passed away at Lehigh Valley Hospice on Monday, September 29, 2025. He was born in Fountain Hill on December 16, 1946 to the late Aaron Renninger and Mary (Martucci) Renninger. James worked as a Field Supervisor at Commercial Design and Construction Co. in Allentown. He was an avid stamp collector. James served our country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps. He received many recognitions for his service including National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, and Rifle Sharpshooter Badge. James was a proud Marine through and through, carrying the values of honor, courage, and commitment throughout his life. Survivors: James is survived by his daughters: Amanda Sigley of Coaldale and Laura Fretz (husband, Todd) of Easton, as well as three grandchildren. In addition to his parents, James is predeceased by brothers: Aaron Renninger, Jr. and John Renninger, Sr. Services: Interment will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, 1 Memorial Avenue, Arlington, VA 22211. James' services have been entrusted to Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at https://www.cantelmifuneralhome.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made directly to Cantelmi Long Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
