Jane Josephine Kindred

Jane Josephine Kindred, a beacon of warmth and kindness, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, at the age of 90, while residing at Bethlehem Manor Senior Living in Bethlehem, PA. Born on May 13, 1935, in Bushkill Township, PA, Jane's life was one of dedication to her family, her work, and her community.
Jane was the cherished daughter of the late William Kindred and Mary (Schaffer) Kindred. Her formative years in Bushkill Township were filled with joy and the close-knit bonds of a loving family. She grew up alongside her brother, Howard Kindred, who, along with his wife Sue, remains to honor Jane's memory and celebrate her life. Jane was predeceased by her sisters Mabel Heft, Virginia Fenstermaker and Pat Lessig, and brother William.
From a young age, Jane was recognized for her impeccable sense of style and her artistic flair. This passion led her to pursue a career in beauty, culminating in her graduation from Beauty School. After her career in beauty, Jane's professional journey took an exciting turn when she worked for many years at Penn-Dixie Cement before joining the team at Guardian Insurance. Her dedication and hard work were evident to all who worked alongside her.
Jane's journey through life may have reached its sunset, but the light she cast upon the world remains undimmed. She will be deeply missed and eternally remembered as a woman of strength, elegance, and compassion.
