Jason Paul Bean, age 44, of Douglassville, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025 in the Pottstown Hospital. Jason was born on July 21, 1980 in Pottstown, PA to Paul W. and Sherry L. (Pollock) Bean. He was the husband of Amber Raser-Bean and the adoring father of Carter Jason Bean.
Jason was a graduate of Daniel Boone High School. For several years, he worked as a foreman at Hammond Lead Products in Stowe, PA, but his true calling was working outdoors.
As an avid outdoorsman and lover of nature, Jason could often be found landscaping his backyard as a family team, working in the dirt and in his gardens, climbing trees, or mulching and picking up sticks with Carter. As a talented craftsman, he enjoyed completing home restoration projects, working with his hands, and working on their property.
As a doting father, Jason was proud to share his love and create a family bond of birds, whether it be gathering feathers, bird watching, teaching Carter and Amber about the birds, or filling the many bird feeders in the backyard. They also shared their love for the outdoors, where Jason would take Carter on hikes on trails made in the backyard, through French Creek State Park, the Monocacy Creek Trail, and most especially through St. Peter's Village.
In addition to Amber and his parents Sherry and Paul, Jason is survived by his son, Carter Jason Bean; his sister, Jenis L. Bean; mother-in-law, Wendy L. Raser; father-in-law, Albert Harper; and grandparents-in-law, Randall and Cecilia Raser.
