Jessie Piscitello Obituary

Jessie Piscitello, 97, formerly of Palmer Twp, PA passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Born October 19, 1927 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Zipito and Teresa (Tramutola) Barbone. Jessie graduated from Easton High School in 1946, and worked as a seamstress and in retail sales. She was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Easton. Jessie was a wonderful homemaker and treasured time with her family and loved ones, whom she enjoyed entertaining with her talents for cooking, sewing, and decorating. She is survived by her son, Bruce Piscitello of Los Angeles, CA; daughters Rosalie Carr (Gary) of Bridgeville, DE, Diana Dreher (Donald) of Bethlehem Twp; brothers Antonino Civitella of Easton, Carl Civitella of Hellertown; sister Victoria Corpora of Palmer Twp; grandchildren James Scordo, Cristina Scordo, Marissa Shannon, Geno Piscitello, Leah Holschwander, Lindsay Piscitello; and great-grandchildren Matthew, Liam, Isabella, Emily, Ava, and Olivia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Eugene Piscitello, son Gaetan Piscitello, and brothers Vincent Civitella, Joseph Civitella and Louis Civitella. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM in Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 10:30 AM in St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 9th and Lehigh Street, Easton, PA. Interment will take place in St Anthony Cemetery, Williams Township, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jessie's name to the Angelic Sisters of Saint Paul, 3724 Knollcroft Street, Easton, PA 18045.
