John Dukes Obituary

John C. Dukes, 78, of Hatfield, husband of P. Gail (Zoeller) Dukes passed away at home with his family at his bedside on Sunday, December 7, 2025, after his battle with cancer.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late John Clement and Mary (Kazimer) Dukes.

John had served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam war. He graduated from Wilkes University with a bachelor's in accounting and worked as a government accountant to audit PA utility companies. John was a licensed CPA and established a private tax practice in Hatfield for over 35 years. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, sharing stories with friends, watching movies, and beach trips to New Jersey and Florida.
Surviving with his wife Gail is son John H. Dukes, daughter Sara E. Marano, wife of Dan, and two grandchildren Colton and Hunter. In addition, John's sister, Janet Romano, wife of Joseph.
John is a loving husband and proud father to John and Sara including his grandchildren. He's greatly missed and loved.

Services and interment at Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
