John S. Florentino

John S. Florentino, 76, of Telford, died Monday, September 29, 2025. Born August 16, 1949 in Lansdale, he was a son to the late John J. and Josephine (Carione) Florentino. John was a skilled electrician and a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. A dedicated US Navy veteran, John served his country with honor. As time permitted, John was always willing to lend a hand in his family's business, the Harleysville Hotel, for many years. He found much camaraderie in the Lansdale YMCA, and enthusiastically and competitively enjoyed playing volleyball. John also served his community by coaching baseball at the North Penn Little League and football for the Cannoneers Youth Football Association. John is survived by his children, Tarah L. Florentino of Telford, Joshua A. Florentino (Kelly) of Lansdale, and Nicholas J. Florentino (Daniela) of Gilbertsville; his grandchildren, Kailey, Jack, Julian, Sophia, Matteo; sisters, Mary Ellen Salerno of Lansdale, Joanne Angelillis (Paul) of Hatfield, Tina Logue of Blooming Glen; his uncle, Leon Florentino of Green Lane; and his aunt, Josephine Grubb of Souderton. Relatives and friends may call between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2025 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
