Jay was my next door neighbor when I lived in Bethlehem. A great neighbor and friend. As a musician, he shared a lot of music and knowledge with me. A great person, lover of nature and animals, father & grandfather. He loved his accordian and playing keyboard, and I enjoyed his show "The Shelter" on WLVR.
You will be missed and never forgotten.

I met Jay when I became a DJ at WLVR. He was a very likable person right from the beginning.
He had an incredible knowledge of music, the various bands and side projects of an amazing array of musicians. He was always willing to share information and anything he had in his collection of music.
I am greatly saddened at his untimely passing.
He was one of the most decent men I have ever known .
God Bless. Rest In Peace my friend.
