Joyce K. Narciso, 85, of Mountainside, NJ, formerly of Pine Brook, NJ & Whitehall, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Brighton Gardens of Mountainside - Mountainside, NJ. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Narciso to whom she was married to for 15 years before his passing in 2010. Born in Bayonne, NJ, Joyce was the daughter of the late Jules and Beatrice Adelung (Brown).
Joyce retired in 2009, before that she worked as an Internal Sales Representative for Decker Tape Products and Villeroy & Boch where she was known for her unwavering commitment to customer service. There wasn't a problem she couldn't solve.
Joyce was best known for her infectious personality, her kindness, willing to help anyone in need and ability to make everyone feel welcome and included. Wherever she went she made friends. She was the life to the party. She loved all sports and there wasn't a sport she wouldn't try. Joyce loved watching her grandchildren play their sports, she was their biggest cheerleader.
Joyce lived a life full of love, dedication, and warmth. She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends.
Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her children: Cynthia Dahn (Mark) of Berkeley Heights, NJ; William Vallance (Ellen) of Flemington, NJ & John Vallance (Oxana) of Moore Twp., PA; grandchildren: Nicole, William, Andrea, John, Peter, Grace, Quinn and Timothy; great-grandson: Wyatt. Joyce was predeceased by brothers: Jules Adelung, Warren Adelung, Arthur Adelung and Kenneth Adelung & sisters: Marion Gambon and Betty Silvay.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 22, 2025 in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish - 210 E Northampton St, Bath, PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to viewing from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, September 21, 2025 in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC, - 2165 Community Drive- Bath, PA 18014. Interment will follow the Mass (Monday) at Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery - Bath. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
