Kathy J. Acuff

Kathy J. (Senges) Acuff, 77, of Lansdale, died Saturday, May 3, 2025.
Born February 19, 1948 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Jane Acuff
Kathy was employed as a teacher with North Penn High School for 38 years, where she also served as a department chair and class advisor. She directed the Community Aquatic Program at North Penn for many years, and she enjoyed scoring high school swimming and girls basketball.
Kathy's hobbies included knitting, painting, her dogs, Penn State football, the Phillies, beach vacations, and the Poconos.
Survivors include her siblings, Bob Acuff of East Norriton, and Anne L. Acuff-Sharkey of Lansdale; three nieces and nephews, Alec Acuff, Caitlin Sharkey Deemer (Geoff), and Paige Sharkey Beirne (Jason); and her great-niece, Emma Beirne.
Relatives and friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2025 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.
