Kenneth H. Born Sr. Sr.

Kenneth H. Born Sr., 72, of Saylorsburg, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital-Monroe Campus. He was the loving husband of Melissa J. (Bailey) Born. They observed their 52nd wedding anniversary in September of last year. Born on April 1, 1953, in Somerville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George F. Born Sr. and the late Ethel (Ader) Born. Kenneth was a supervisor for Hunterdon Developmental Center in Clinton, NJ, for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, and old western movies. Kenneth was always fixing things or tinkering around the house. He was warm, caring, generous, and had a great sense of humor. He was very personable and enjoyed talking with everyone he'd meet. Most of all, his family and friends were everything to him. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Kenneth will be deeply missed by all his friends and family. In addition to his wife, Melissa, he is survived by two daughters, Barbara Diller and her husband Charles, Lisa Born and her husband Charles; a son, Kenneth Born Jr.; a brother, Ernest Born and his wife Marilyn ; four grandchildren, Scott Apgar Jr., Brianna Dimaio, Daniel Diller, Khatrell Walker; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Rosemary Burd, and a brother, George F. Born Jr. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 PM with Rev.
