Kenneth Malone Obituary

Kenneth Earl Malone, 102, of Chalfont, PA; formerly of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Grand View Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Jo Frances Malone. Kenneth was born in Castleford, Idaho to the late Loren Leroy Malone and the late Ruth Copeland (Tannehill) Malone. He graduated from Castleford High School in Castleford, Idaho, class of 1940. Kenneth served as naval aviator for the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He worked as a farmer and rancher throughout Idaho, Arizona, and Mexico. Kenneth was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. Throughout his working lifetime, he bred Quarter Horses and held various positions as a Horse racing official. He was among the founding members of American Quarter Horse Association, owning an early registered quarter horse, Jinny Rae. Kenneth was a hardworking man who had a strong empathy with animals. He was always busy studding the bloodline of horses and gardening. Kenneth is survived by his son, Steven Guy Malone & wife, Anne of Chalfont, PA; his grandson, Ryan Malone of Chalfont, PA; his granddaughter, Alexandria Malone & husband, Brice Horrigan of Lindale, TX; his great-grandson, Barron Horrigan of Lindale, TX; and his two sisters, Carol Cooper of Boise, ID and Margaret Linville of MI. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lucille Wofford and his brother, Lyle Malone. Service will be private at the convenience of the family. A sailor from the greatest generation has passed away today. Kenneth, you are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow war veteran. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final departure. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.
