Kevin N. Patel

It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness we announce the tragic passing of Kevin N. Patel, 28, of Collegeville PA, near his residence in Chicago, IL on April 16th 2025. His sudden departure has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
Kevin was the beloved younger child of Nitin and Bhavana Patel. From an early age, it was clear that he had a bright mind, generous heart, and the spirit to put smiles on everyone's face. He was kind, caring, loving, and affectionate to anyone he met, whether it was someone he knew or a new stranger he met at his frequent workouts at the gym. Those who remember Kevin know he never had anything bad or negative to say about anyone he encountered.
Kevin excelled throughout his academic career. His brilliance showed from achieving his national honors society at Perkiomen Valley High School, to his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin. His passion for math and numbers kept him driven to find a successful career as an Actuary, and eventually receiving his Associates of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation.
Kevin was passionate about so many things, most notably Philadelphia sports (especially his Philadelphia Eagles), having a healthy lifestyle, and enjoying life's smallest moments. For Kevin, the World never seemed too big or intimidating. He took life day by day, striving for daily progress, and making the little things count to whomever he touched that day.
Kevin leaves behind so many who will miss him deeply, including his parents Nitin & Bhavana Patel, and his older brother Neil. Kevin's memory will remain in the hearts of his entire family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on for generations to come, inspiring those around him with his kindness, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.
Funeral services for Kevin Patel will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, LTD. (329 N Lewis Rd, Royersford, PA 19468.) A viewing will also be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM-10:45 AM at the funeral home. We welcome all who knew and loved him to join us in honoring his memory. Immediate family, close friends and those who have traveled a long distance are invited to Crossroads Presbyterian Church (10 W. Cherry Lane, Limerick, PA 19468) for a luncheon and time of fellowship.
