Lawrence Berry Obituary

Lawrence D. "Bucky" Berry, 74 of East Stroudsburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, PA. Born September 15, 1950, in Franklin, NJ, he was the son of the late Lester Berry and the late Sarah (Kane) Berry. After graduating from Delaware Valley High School, Milford, PA in 1968, Lawrence went to work as a heavy equipment operator. He was employed by various companies, most recently, by Beers Construction of Wind Gap, before retiring after 40 years in 2012. Lawrence proudly served with the Delaware Township Volunteer Fire Company, Dingmans Ferry, PA for a few years and he was a member of the East Stroudsburg Loder Senior Center. Survivors: son, Douglas Berry of Souderton, PA, daughter, Brenda wife of Forrest G. Koch of Northampton, PA, brothers, Larry Berry and wife Shirley of Milford, PA and Leonard Berry and wife Ingeborg of Chambersburg, PA, and sister, Geraldine Marks, of Milford PA. Grandson, Brandon Koch and nieces and nephews. A private Funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton, PA is in charge of arrangements. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family, care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.schislerfuneralhomes.com
