Lois Craven Obituary

Lois (Mann) Craven, 85, of Telford, Pennsylvania, and formerly of Sellersville and Yardley, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Lutheran Community at Telford.

She was the beloved wife of the late Allan B. Craven Sr., with whom she shared 60 wonderful years of marriage.

Born in Horsham, Pennsylvania, Lois was the daughter of the late William Herbert Mann and Elsie Mae (McHugh) Mann. She graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School in the Class of 1958.

Lois was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A woman of deep faith, she was a longtime member of Calvary Church, where she joyfully served as the organist, sang in the choir, and participated in various ministries including women's Bible study, ladies' sewing circle, and Barnabas visitation ministry.

Her love of music was a constant in her life ~ she especially enjoyed singing and playing the piano and organ. Lois also had a passion for sewing, crocheting, quilting, gardening, baking and reading. She cherished spending time with her family, whether at home, camping, or traveling around the United States.

Lois had an unwavering faith in Jesus and was a devoted prayer warrior. She will be remembered for her patience, kindness, generosity and hospitality. She embodied a selfless spirit and a heart full of love.

She is survived by her children: A. Bruce Craven Jr. and his wife, Holly, of Harrisonville, PA; and Judy B. (Craven) Coyle and her husband, Rick, of Telford, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren: R. Wayne Coyle, Jr. & wife, Jillian of Royersford, PA; Janelle M. (Coyle) Forsythe & husband, Jay of Sellersville, PA; Allan B. Craven III of Philadelphia, PA; Austin B. Craven & wife, Cher of Airville, PA; and Nathan J. Coyle & wife, Victoria of Quakertown, PA.

Her legacy continues through her nine precious great-grandchildren: Maisie & Rhys Coyle, Sierra, Savanna & Hudson Forsythe and Jaxon, Brayden, Kinsley & Finn Coyle.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by her five sisters, Martha Pickering, Mary Hoffman, Jean Johnson, Ruth Taylor and Grace Harris and her brother, William "Bill" Mann.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Church in Heritage Hall, 820 Route 113, Souderton, PA 18964, followed by a luncheon and greeting time with the family.

Bruce and Judy,

Sorry to read of your mom's passing. She was a wonderful, gracious lady and I have many fond memories spent at the Craven house during our Calvary CROWD days. We mourn not in vain as she is home with her Lord!
