Lorraine Herne Obituary

Lorraine L. Herne, 89, of Wyomissing, passed away on Monday, January 27th, at Columbia Cottage, Wyomissing. Lorraine was born in Philadelphia on July 24, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Mary (Walsh) and Harry Raab. She worked in sales in Pompano, Florida for 10 years before retiring in 1994. Lorraine cherished her family and was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola R.C. Church, West Lawn. Lorraine was very outgoing and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Lorraine is survived by her son, Dennis M. Herne, husband of Maryann, of Sinking Spring; granddaughter, Victoria E. Herne, of Reading; step granddaughter Heather J. Dierolf, wife of Jacob, of Shillington, step great grandchildren, Hunter, Naomi and Austin Basehoar, all of Shillington; predeceased by stepson Jason Dierolf of West Lawn with step great granddaughter's Avianna Simchick-Dierolf, of Sinking Spring and Faith Dierolf, of Murrells Inlet, SC. Services are private at the convenience of the family. Interment at Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Caron Foundation at caron.org/donate Arrangements entrusted to John P.
