Louise Shapiro Obituary

Louise C. "Weezie" Shapiro, 84 years of Macungie, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of the late Robert H. "Shep" Shapiro for 61 years until he passed away January 31, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, NY she was a daughter of the late Michael and Carmella (LaGuardia) Luongo. She worked in Data Entry for the IRS. Along with her husband and daughters, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, whether it be summers in Atlantic City, or Bushkill Park. Louise loved playing piano, going to the casino, seeing Frankie Valli in concert and watching her game shows. Survivors: daughters, Joanne Bartell (Michael) of Pocono Summit and Veronica Stoeckel (Darrin) of Fogelsville; sister, Lucille Evelyn of Florida, grandchildren, Michael, Justin, Nicole and Nicholas; great grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Ashton and Gunner. She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Koscinski. Private Services. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
