Lucille Mann Obituary
Lucille Moriat Mann, 97, passed away on September 28, 2025 in Fountain Hill, PA. Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Lizzie (Harmony) Seifert. She was the wife of the late Charles J. Mann who preceded her in death on October 7, 1979. Lucille was a proud graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1945. Throughout her life, she worked in a variety of roles, but her greatest contribution was providing her children with the gift of each other. She loved their home in Little York, NJ, which was built by her husband, Charles, in 1957. Lucille enjoyed watching a wide variety of sports and typically cheered for the underdog. Her competitive spirit was apparent while playing (and winning) a variety of board and card games and particularly Bingo in her later years. Lucille was known for her clever, yet sometimes quirky, sense of humor that brought laughter to those around her. Lucille had a great appreciation for music, which she passed onto her children. She enjoyed musicals, marching bands and looked forward to watching the annual Mummer's Parade and was known, on occasion, to perform their traditional strut. Lucille greatly appreciated nature's gifts such as beautiful days, sunsets, songbirds and puppy dogs.
Lucille was the last to survive of her siblings: Claudine Bidewell, George Seifert, Jeanette Fiorentino, Ruth Seifert, William Seifert and John Seifert.
Lucille was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Elizabeth Mann and her beloved granddaughter, Amy Elizabeth Mann.
Survivors are a son, Charles W. Mann and daughters: Carol Mann Sacknoff (Eric Sacknoff), Catherine Mann (Bill Plecenik), Jennifer Mann Rostron (Niles Rostron) and Judith Mann (Bob Kreidler).
Known by them fondly as Titi, she is also survived by her grandchildren: Lisa Shoudt Gedaminsky (Stanley Gedaminsky), Erin Shoudt, Kaitlin Mann (Michael Eaton); great grandchildren Olivia Gedaminsky and Charlie and Vera Eaton.
In addition to her immediate family, Lucille will be remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews, friends and caregivers.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the outstanding care provided by the staff of Cedarbrook Nursing Home, as well as the support and guidance from Family Pillars Hospice. In addition, the family will be forever grateful for the love and commitment provided by friend, Jean and therapy dog, Toby.
Visitation will be held at the Pearson Funeral Home on October 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, Cleft Lip and Palate Program, P.O. Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352
