Margaret Ann Dyer

Margaret Ann (Schreiner) Dyer, 70, of Boyertown, PA, passed away on February 7, 2025, in Stowe, PA. She was the beloved wife of Allen Dyer, with whom she shared 20 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on January 22, 1955, Peggy was the daughter of the late Thomas and Loretta (Carpenter) Schreiner. Peggy graduated from Perkiomen Valley High School in 1973 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Gwynedd Mercy University. She dedicated many years to serving others as a claims processor for the State Unemployment Office before retiring in 2001. After retirement, she found fulfillment in caring for those in need, always offering a helping hand with kindness and compassion. A devoted member of St. Columbkill Catholic Church in Boyertown, she was actively involved in the LAOH group. More than anything, Peggy cherished time with her family, friends, and especially her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her warmth, generosity, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Peggy is lovingly remembered by her husband, Allen Dyer; her children, Robert (& Jennifer) Soley Jr., Meghan (& Sean) Hoffer, and Sean (& Danae) Soley; her grandchildren, Jada, Tyler, Jailin, Kallie, Jordan, Ryan, Anthony, and Carter; and her siblings, Art Schreiner, Charles Schreiner, Joe (& Kathy) Schreiner, her twin brother, Jack (& Sharon) Schreiner, Michael (& Mary) Schreiner, Mariellen Van Anglen, Judy McAuliffe, and Loretta Schreiner. In addition to her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas Schreiner and Harry Schreiner. Viewings will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday, February 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Columbkill Catholic Church, 200 Indian Spring Rd., Boyertown, PA 19512.
