Margaret Meitzler Obituary

Margaret E. "Peggy" Meitzler Margaret E. "Peggy" Meitzler, 94 of Boyertown, passed away peacefully at Chestnut Knoll on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Born on November 18, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Celeste (Miller) and Russel Mathias. She was the loving wife of the late Charles D. Meitzler. Peggy was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Sassamansville. She enjoyed bird watching, going to country and bluegrass concerts, camping trips with her family and tending to her plants. Above all, Peggy adored and cherished her family. She loved family gatherings and being surrounded by those she loved. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Christine Miller and her husband, David, Greta Schott and her husband, Carl, Wendy Wade, Phyllis Rohrbach and her husband, Mike, Rodney Meitzler and his wife, Barbara and Steven Meitzler and his wife, Tonya; sister, Judith E. Moser; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Peggy was preceded in death by her son, Randy Meitzler and great-granddaughter, Desiree. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 10-11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1809 Hoffmansville Rd. Sassamansville, PA 19472. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the church with burial immediately following at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to https://cureduchenne.org/ or to https://caringhospice.com/ Arrangements have been entrusted to Falk Funeral Homes, Pennsburg.
