Margaret Marie Rohleder

Margaret Marie Rohleder, lovingly known as Marie to her family and friends, passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 86. A longtime resident of Lower Macungie Township, she died peacefully at Country Meadows in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Baltimore, Marie later moved to the Allentown area with her family, maintaining close ties with friends and loved ones in both communities. She was a proud graduate of Western Maryland College and Essex Community College. Marie was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker, and also worked as a travel agent. She was a faithful member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Allentown. She also enjoyed participating in the Silver Sneakers program at the Allentown YMCA, staying active and engaged with friends well into her later years. A lover of crafts, travel, and card games, Marie especially enjoyed playing cribbage and gathering with her card club. Her greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her family-her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore J. Rohleder Sr. She is survived by her four children: T.J. Rohleder and his wife Leah, Daniel Rohleder and his wife Linda, Theresa Johnson, and Beth Rohleder and her wife Anna. She is also lovingly remembered by her six grandchildren-Miles, Andrew, Tiffany, Chris, Wally, and Cameron-and her ten great-grandchildren: Rowan, Jack, Liam, Maddison, Ashton, Brooks, Austin, Jackson, Maddingly, and Aubrey. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave, Allentown, PA. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11:00 AM Wednesday in the church. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
