Margarita Reyes Obituary

Margarita Reyes, 79, a woman whose warmth and love touched countless lives, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family. Born on July 13, 1946, in the vibrant landscapes of Puerto Rico, Margarita lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to family. Margarita was the beloved daughter of the late Miguel Rojas and Iris Soto. She was preceded in death by her cherished son, Herbert Rojas, her siblings Carmen, Michael, and Elsie, and her grandchildren Miguel Rivera and Irene Rojas. Her life was a beautiful reflection of devotion and care, qualities she shared generously with everyone she met. As a homemaker, Margarita created a home that was a sanctuary for all. Her open-door policy was well-known, welcoming her children's friends with warm meals and a nurturing embrace, building a family that reached far beyond her own. She is survived by her loving children: Michael Rojas, Manuel Rojas, Michelle Perez and her husband Ivan, Steven Garcia and his wife Jeanette, Danny Diaz and his wife Jennifer, and Miller Cruz and husband Willie Johnson. She also leaves behind many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family who will forever cherish her memory. Margarita's spirit lives on in her children and their families, each carrying forward her strength, support, and boundless love . Margarita found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her family was her world, and she poured endless energy into nurturing them with love and comfort. Her kindness was limitless, her compassion a gift to all who knew her. She lived with a deep belief that no one should feel alone, and her actions reflected this every day. As the heart of her family, Margarita guided her loved ones with grace and optimism. Her wisdom was sought, her laughter infectious, and her ability to listen with an open heart was a rare and precious gift. She not only cared for her children but also uplifted their spirits, instilling values of generosity and empathy that will echo through generations. Margarita's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her extraordinary life and the countless lives she touched will never be forgotten. Her legacy of love, warmth, and family will continue to inspire and comfort those she leaves behind.
