Marjorie "Midge" Grace Everett, 90, of Reading, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Berks Heim Nursing Home in Bern Twp. PA where she had been a resident for two years. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel G. Everett to whom she was married 47 years before his passing in 2002. Born in Nazareth, Marjorie was a daughter of the late Willard and Mildred (Heyer) Trach.
She attended Nazareth High School, graduating in 1951. She went on to modeling school in NYC, being a teen and petite model for Orr's Department Store. Marjorie was a dedicated mother and grandmother to her three children and their families. She enjoyed singing and donated her talents in a singing duo over the years, performing at various venues through the years. She had a strong faith as a lifelong Christian.
Survivors: She will be dearly missed by her children: Daniel Everett, husband of Deborah, Carolyn Baker, Kathryn Schultz, wife of Herb; grandchildren: Stephanie, Caitlyn, Christina, Cody, Sydney, Carrie and Dana; brother: Frank Trach and many nieces and nephews. Marjorie is predeceased by her sister Joyce Kerscmar and granddaughter Kimberly Everett.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2024 in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to call from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will conclude services at Fairview Cemetery, Moore Twp.
