Martin D. Semmel

Martin "Marty" D. Semmel, 71, of Emmaus, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at home. He was the husband of Heidi L. (Roth) Semmel, with whom he shared over 49 years of marriage. Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Edwin D. Jr. and Lorraine (Martin) Semmel. Along with his wife Heidi, Marty was the co-owner of C.E.Roth Formal Wear LLC, Allentown. His wife and dedicated staff will continue to carry on his legacy through their formal wear business. He loved car racing and in his earlier years he worked for Mr. Harr's Autobody, Coopersburg. His pride and joy were his granddaughters as well as being with his grand dog Odin and working in his garage rebuilding cars.
Survivors: wife Heidi; daughter Nichole D. Persing of Coopersburg; 3 granddaughters Madalyn, Brooke and Emma; brothers Kirk and Neil; sisters Leslye and Linette; as well as many close friends and wonderful staff at C.E. Roth.
A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
