Merlyn Sutton Obituary
Born September 14, 1948, in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Floyd Miles and Florence Ethel (Snyder) Sutton.
He had been a security guard.
Merlyn enjoyed listening to Gospel radio and watching football, especially the Rams, and baseball, which he grew up playing. He also enjoyed attending Easton football games with his daughter.
He was of the Christian faith.
Surviving is a daughter, Audra Marie Sutton and her fiancé Wade A. Lawton, of Easton; a granddaughter, Ashley Marie Ostrander; a great-grandson, Chase Owen Spieles; a sister, Carol Linda Sutton, of Easton; and a brother, Merrill Mark Sutton and his husband Bob Lawson, of Clearwater, FL.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm Friday, October 17th, in Hay's Cemetery, 703 Iron Street, Easton. The Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton, is in charge of arrangements. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.

My sincere condolences to Carol, Merrill, Audra and families on the passing of my first best friend when I moved to South Side Easton. Lots of fond memories of playing in the alley and back yards and driving some of the neighbors crazy. They were the best times of our lives. Rest in eternal peace my first South Side friend.
