Michael D. Biehl Sr.

Michael D. Biehl, Sr., 74, of Lansdale, PA, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Harold and Ethel Biehl.
The loving husband of Eliza, both Mike and his wife honorably served their country in the United States Navy. Meeting at Camp Lejeune, NC as a Navy Nurse and Corpsman, Mike and Eliza fell in love after Mike asked Eliza to cook him a steak dinner.
Eventually settling in Little Silver, NJ, Mike was Borough Administrator for over 20 years. He took pride in his work, making many meaningful contributions to his community. During his tenure, Mike oversaw the completion of numerous significant projects and events. Some of his most notable work included the restorations and preservation of the Parker Homestead and Little Silver Train Station, the construction of Sickles Park and the celebration of Little Silvers's 75th Anniversary. Additionally, he initiated and implemented the town's recycling program and served on Borough Council for 10 years.
Mike's family, pets and garden were his greatest joys in life. His children, grandchildren, and animals appealed to his offbeat sense of humor and brought him countless moments of laughter throughout his life. He took Eliza and his children on many memorable family trips, sharing his love of American history, National Parks and respect for the natural world. In his later years, Mike took great interest in studying his family history and genealogy.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Michael, and wife Laura; his two daughters, Kara and Jennifer, and her husband Dan; his three grandchildren, Calvin, Tabitha and Hannah; his sisters, Bonnie and Meg; and nieces and nephews whom he adored. Mike is preceded in death by his brothers, Hal and Jim, and his sister, Linda.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
