Michael A. Freeman

Michael A. Freeman, 73, of Macungie, passed away on February 18, 2025 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Joanne M. (Bobenich) Freeman. They were married for 37 years on January 8th. Mike worked as a National Sales Manager. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Willam C. and Margaret A. (Becker) Freeman. He was a graduate of William Allen High School, class of 1970. Mike was a member of the Allentown Exchange Club and lifelong member of the Hogans of Allentown and the Mercantile Club. He was a loving husband, father, Pop-Pop, brother, uncle and friend.
Survivors: Wife, Sons: William M. Freeman and his wife Leanna M. of Easton and Jason L. Freeman of Philadelphia, Brothers: W. Scott Freeman and his wife Victoria Grochocinski of Macungie, Robert R. Freeman and his wife Heidi of Fogelsville and Lee C. Freeman and his wife Karla of Hershey, PA and a Grandson: Silas W. Freeman. He was preceded in death by a Sister: Jan E. Visnar.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 11 A.M. at the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton Sts. Allentown. A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 4 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. and on Monday, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to: Tunnel to Towers or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
