Patrick J. Stanton

Patrick J. Stanton, of Plymouth Meeting, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025 at age 65. Born April 16, 1960 in Lafayette Hill, he was the son of the late Edward and Joan (nee Cummings) Stanton, and the beloved husband, and best friend of Maureen T. (nee Fenerty) Stanton with whom he shared 30 years of marriage. After graduating from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, Patrick went on to find a career as a chef until his retirement in 2020. Once retired, Patrick was able to return to his first passion, art, and created many paintings and custom figures. If not working on a project, you could find him walking with his dog Bray or researching family ancestry to find new towns to visit in Ireland. Patrick is survived by his wife, Maureen, and their two children, Aislinn and Michael. He is also survived by his siblings: Edward (Rebecca), Dennis (Eisey), Eileen Nielsen (Jim), Joseph (Betsy), Elizabeth Sullivan (David), Jean (Mary), John (Rita), and Tim (Cathi). In addition, he is remembered by his in-laws: James Fenerty (Judy), Kathleen McCloskey (Matthew), Joseph Fenerty (Justine), and Amy McNair (Tim), as well as many nieces and nephews. Patrick was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael and James, and his sisters, Kathleen, Mary, and Joni. Relatives and friends are invited to share in Patrick's Life Celebration on Friday May 9, from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM at Epiphany of Our Lord Church 3050 Walton Rd. Plymouth Meeting. His Memorial Mass will begin at 11:30 AM at the church. Interment will be private. Family services are by Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 610-277-7000.
