Phil also played on the golf team at Bloomsburg from 1964-1965.
During his senior year at Bloomsburg, Phil began student teaching at Council Rock School District. Upon his graduation, he went on to educating students at Richboro Middle School from 1965-1999. At St. Jude's, Phil served as a parish seminary collector and was on the Adoration Committee.
Phil's love for model trains and the Pennsylvania Railroad began with the gift of a Lionel model train in 1948 from his father. Phil's childhood hobby became a lifelong passion, with one of the largest private model train displays in the northeast that he shared with thousands of visitors over 17 years. Phil often said he always left the train room happy, as did so many who made visits to the display an annual holiday event.
Enjoy the train ride of eternal life, Phil "Pap." We love you, and will miss you!
