Richard Tucker Obituary

Richard D. Tucker, 88, of Easton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Arden Courts. Born in Hornell, NY on April 11, 1937 he was a son of the late Elsie (Davis) Gallman and her husband, Otto and Harold Tucker. Richard graduated from Friendship High School in 1955. He worked as a draftsman for Ingersoll Rand until his retirement. He was a member of the Forks of the Delaware Bottle Club and was an avid antique bottle collector. Richard enjoyed the outdoors and spent time hunting and fishing. He loved his family and cherished the time he got to spend with them. Richard is survived by his son, Bradley Tucker and his wife, Lori of Danielsville, PA; daughter, Tamara Tucker Mehlig and her husband, Edmund of Nazareth, PA; grandchildren, Braden, Rylan, Sarah, and Marissa; and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Cecile M. "CeCe" (Ruff) Tucker in 2019; daughter, Linda Ann; sister, Anita Hood; and brothers, Robert and Harold Tucker. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service. Interment will take place at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Green Pond Road, Easton. Memorial contributions in Richard's name may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001 or to Serenity Hospice of Pennsylvania, 3893 Adler Place, Suite 101, Building B, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
