Richard Woolf Obituary

Richard C. Woolf, 69, of Bath, PA, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Richard was born in Easton, PA on August 7, 1955 to the late Stewart S. Woolf Jr. and Mildred Shay Woolf. Richard was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Class of 1973, where he was part of the 1971 and 1972 Stateliner Football Conference Championship Team. He was also part of the Stateliner wins over Easton those same years. Rich showed his P'Burg Pride every year at the Easton-P'Burg Game on Thanksgiving Day. Richard worked in Sales for many years, beginning with Alpha Lehigh Tool & Machine, Co., Universal Machine, Co., and G.J. Oliver, Inc., from which he retired. He was an avid sports fan, finding joy in watching NASCAR, Indy Racing and rooting on the Phillies and Eagles. Most importantly, Rich loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. Richard was a member of the Lehigh Township Lions Club. Richard is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kathy Woolf; Step-Daughter, Lauren (Jacob) Trumbore; Step-Son, Timothy Werkheiser; Daughter, Tracey (Jerry) Dapolito; Grandchildren. Tatum, Bailee, Kyle, Kyla, Tristen, Abby, Mason, Brynna, Nicholas, and Holdyn; Brother, Stewart S. (Susan) Woolf III; numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by Sister and Brother-in-Law, Dolores and Robert Stout. A Visitation for the Family and Friends of Richard will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Pkwy; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery; Phillipsburg, NJ. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made in Richard's name to the American Heart Association www.heart.org To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Richard, please visit our floral store.
