Ricky Lee Marburger

Ricky Lee Marburger, 72, retired from this life on September 12th, 2025, with his loved ones by his side. Rick's life was filled with love, hard work, and the joy he found in those closest to him. He was the son of the late David and Doris (Blatt) Marburger. For over 30 years, Rick made his home in Gouglersville, where he shared his heart and his life with his beloved companion, Elyse Kaucher. To carry forward his legacy and memory, he leaves behind his four children: Heather Hermort, Jonathan Hermort, Laura Freymoyer, and Tammy Cox. He was reunited in eternal rest with his daughter, Beth Carson, who preceded him in death in 2014. He is remembered by his grandchildren: Chloe, Jace, Cassidi, Aidan, Lucas, Kayla, Jordan, and Joshua. Rick is survived by his siblings, Davey, Jeff, and Diane, who shared in his life's journey. Rick devoted over 40 years to his work as an automotive mechanic, eventually retiring from TRAC Auto, where his skill and dedication earned him the respect of many. Known by all for his ability to fix just about anything, Rick's talent in his trade was undeniable. When he wasn't working, Rick could often be found rebuilding old flatheads - the same kind of stock cars that once tore around the Reading Fairgrounds - proof that he was born with motor oil in his veins. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed time at his camp up north. He cherished his two dogs, Bandit and Mutt Lee. Above all, Rick will be remembered for his sharp wit, his hardworking hands, and the love he carried for his family. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
