Rita Elaine Zambelli

Rita Elaine Zambelli, 67, of Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at St. Luke's University Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the loving wife of Gerard G. Zambelli, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage. Born in Allentown on July 31, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Anna (Kuba) Zokovitch. Rita worked as a Product Placement Specialist in the confectionary industry at Just Born, Bethlehem, for over 23 years until her retirement. She was a devoted member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Hellertown. Rita's greatest joy was found in her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crafting and traveling, particularly her trips to Cape May, which held a special place in her heart. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Gerard; her children: Jesse (Mary Beth) Albert of Zionsville, Rachel Sutter of Macungie, Jared (Stacey) Albert of Slatington, Jeremy Zambelli of Phoenixville, Justin Zambelli of Phoenixville, and Danielle Zambelli of Kingston; brothers: Joseph Zokovitch of Allentown and Fred (Jean) Zakovitch of Bethlehem; and eight grandchildren: Hailey, Leah, Megan, Emily, Hannah, Zachary, Ivy, Autumn and expected baby boy, Arthur. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Zokovitch. Family and friends are invited to a visitation period on 1-2 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown, followed by the funeral service at . Interment will follow at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. A funeral repast will be held at The Carriage House at Heintzelman's immediately following the interment.
