Robert D. Berger Sr.

Robert D. Berger, Sr., 86, passed away on October 16, 2025, at his home in North Catasauqua with his family by his side. Born in Weissport, he was the son of the late Nelson and Rose Berger. He was the husband of the late Martha S. Berger with whom he shared many years prior to her passing in August of 1994. Robert was employed by the former Bath Cast & Metal forging company for twenty years. He then worked for over 18 years with Scheuermann Excavating. Robert was an avid train collector and spent many years collecting, rebuilding, and making trains. He spent time setting up model train displays in which he was always proud to show to everyone he met. Robert also enjoyed playing Skee Ball at Knoebel's amusement park. He is survived by daughters Debra Christman and her fiancé Steve, Doris Brady and her husband Craig and Donna Fenstermaker and her boyfriend Joe, son Rodney D. Berger and his wife Cindy; 9 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 8 great-step grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of many years, Martha S. Berger and son Robert D. Berger, Jr. Calling period will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 5-6 pm at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua.
