Robert Diener

Robert B. Diener Jr, 87, husband of the loving Charlotte Elaine (Hatfield) Diener, passed away September 2, 2025 at Manatawny Manor. He was the only son of Catherine (Sassaman) Diener. Robert was an antique and classic car enthusiast, and a big fan of high school sports. He was swept up by the national jogging craze in the seventies and eighties. He enjoyed the annual family vacation in Ocean City, NJ immensely. Robert grew up poor, yet came to enjoy tracking his financial investments at the end of each day. Above all he was the Patriarch of the family. He took great pride in providing for his mother and siblings at a very young age, under difficult circumstances, and continued to serve his entire family in that capacity throughout his life. Along with his wife, Robert leaves behind memories to be cherished by his sons Robert B. Diener (fiancé Derek R. Bracey), and Todd A. Diener (wife Jennifer L. Koch), a sister Jaqueline Meyer and a granddaughter Hannah B. Diener. Robert is predeceased by two sisters Virginia Arters and Marjorie Rettew. A Mass will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 11AM. at St Aloysius Church, Pottstown. A visitation will be held prior to Mass from 10AM. to 11AM. in the Gathering Center at the Church. Inurnment will be private for family members only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to St. Aloysius Church. Warker~Troutman Funeral Home Inc is honored to serve Robert's family.
