It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert "Bob" George Keich on June 25, 2025. Bob was the beloved husband of Nina Nunes-Keich.
Born on September 20, 1966 in Wilmington, Delaware, Bob was the son of the late George Robert Keich and Susan (Haughney) Keich Murray. He was a proud 1984 graduate of Central Dauphin East Senior High School and went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Lehigh University in 1988. At Lehigh, he was an active member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity.
Throughout his professional career, Bob enjoyed tremendous success as a Process Control Engineer and Control's Project Manager. His contributions extended beyond his work, as he was deeply committed to giving back to his community. Bob served on the Lower Saucon Authority, was on the board of advisors for Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Ohio University, and volunteered his time with various charitable organizations. Bob was a blood and marrow doner during his life. As an organ and tissue donor, he will continue to help others in his passing.
Bob's desire for travel was sparked by the road rallies he shared with his father and remained a constant throughout his life. After exploring numerous European countries and all but one of the U.S. states, he finally put down roots in Pennsylvania, where he met his soulmate, Nina.
Bob's passions extended beyond his career-he loved reconnecting with friends and family across the country, diving into video games, and, much to his wife's amusement, automating every corner of their home. He also carried on his father's legacy by collecting cats, a tradition that brought him great joy.
Bob is survived by his cherished wife, Nina Nunes-Keich; stepmother, Corrie Keich-Wiley and her spouse, Cody; sisters, Linda Burnatowski and her husband, Dave; Ellen Maisonet; stepson, Ryan McCarthy; brother-in-law, Alberto Maisonet; two nephews and a niece, all of whom he adored and who will miss him dearly.
Bob's presence, kindness, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of generosity, both in his personal and professional life, will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a memorial service. Memorial contributions in Bob's name may be made to the
