Roberta J. Barrell

Roberta J. Barrell, 82, formerly of Hellertown, died Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at VNA Hospice House at St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Twp. She is the wife of the late Carl E. Barrell, who died May 22, 1997. Roberta was born in Bethlehem on November 23, 1942 to the late John and Pearl (Pysher) Ohmacht. She was a nurse's aide at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown and Saucon Valley Manor, and Zawick Manufacturing both of Hellertown as a seamstress. Roberta is a member of Lower Saucon United Church of Christ, Hellertown. Roberta is survived by her children: Joseph P. (Beth) Barrell of Hellertown; Carlene E. Barrell of Williams Twp.; and a sister: Valerie Mazeo in NJ; grandchildren: Carl, William, Emma Barrell, Samantha Barrell, Alexis Doddy, and Whitney Anderson. Family and friends are invited to call 10-11 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2025 at Lower Saucon UCC, 1375 Third Avenue – Hellertown followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. A funeral repast will be held at the Carriage House at Heintzelmans immediately following the graveside service.
